How I look at things…

Here are some of the ways I look at things.

Firstly, I believe everything happens for a reason, and therefore we don’t need to regret anything, or wish to go back and change something that we have done.

Secondly, I believe we have the responsibility to contribute to the societies that we are linked to, and are obligated to do everything we can to make the world a better place.

Thirdly, I believe we should not try and fix people around us, but first change ourselves.

Fourthly, I beliebe communication is extremely vital to a person’s success, and therefore we should make use of our time to socialise and meet new people. Through this we will also learn more about ourselves and how we deal with certain social problems.

Fifthly, I believe we all have the right to make our own decisions, and no matter right or wrong, they make up to who we are.

Last but not least, we should all fight for what we want, and even though everything happens for a reason, we also need to provide a reason for the things we want to happen. I don’t think it is correct to think that since everything happens for a reason, then we don’t need to do anything.

The Voice (NOT THE SHOW)

They call it conscience. I don’t. Because sometimes the voice in your head isn’t exactly a judgement that distinguishes right from wrong. Therefore, I’m going to use my 13-year-old improper language in this post.

Whatever you’re going to do, no matter if it’s going to the bathroom, crossing the street, or jumping off a building, it — the decision — STRONGLY depends on the situation.

If your “voice” tells you that it’s good, do it. If it tells you that it’s not so good, maybe consider another choice.

Your “voice” isn’t the sound that comes out from your mouth. (Okay. You DO have a voice that comes out of your mouth, but remember I put quotation marks around it.) It’s the feeling that you get when you’re about to do something (or actually end up doing). Like when people say, “I have a bad feeling about this.” You know?

So basically what I do is I think about the reasons why I’m making a certain decision. Then, I consider the effects on people, myself, things, animals, school, the Eiffel Tower, whatever. (Just consider the effects is okay.) Then I do the gut feeling thing. (Or the “voice” as I called it just now.)

If I have a bad feeling, I change the decision. If I have a good feeling, well, I go along with it.

Oh, and the gut feeling thing, works most of the time.

CAUTION: IF YOU HAVE A BAD FEELING ABOUT SOMETHING, THEN IT MOST LIKELY IS. SO IF YOU HAVE A BAD FEELING ABOUT YOUR DECISION, DO NOT GO ALONG WITH IT.

LIKE DO NOT JUMP OFF A BUILDING.

Thank you.
